The Zenair CH2000-M (Military)
A Tactical Surveillance/Military/Training Aircraft

Picture
MILITARY: The CH2000 has a proven track record in operations related to Coast Guard and Maritime Patrols that is unmatched by other aircraft in its class.

SURVEILLANCE: Presently, a fleet of CH2000 aircraft are operating in some of meanest environments, border patrolling in Iraq.

LAW ENFORCEMENT: The Zenair CH2000 has been serving with distinction and has proved particularly efficient at maximizing surveillance and reconnaissance coordination when other resources are limited.

TRAINING: The CH2000 has successfully trained hundreds of pilots through flight schools, military and air force programs.

The Zenair CH2000 is durable with low purchase and operating costs as well as low maintenance. The CH2000 has a  cruise speed range from 100 up to 150 knots and has exceptional low-speed handling and maneuvering capabilities at around 50-70 knots. This, combined with an amazing crosswind capabilities of 25 knots makes the aircraft similar to conventional helicopters in many respects, allowing for continuous tight turns during low level observation, inspection and photography. At these low speeds and with aux. fuel, the aircraft can have an endurance exceeding 8 hours.

Designed to fulfill a wide range of demanding missions, specialty detection equipment such as radars, scanning systems and high-resolution cameras have been installed internally and/or externally on the CH2000. Advanced communication systems on board enable ground action to be coordinated during crime detection and interception. The CH2000 operates in extreme hot/cold weather conditions making it a reliable and safe solution for many special mission requirements.

Military Equipped:
For applications that do not require certification (military), the aircraft has been adapted to include a larger engine up to 200 HP and or an an increased gross weight of 2,200 lbs from 1692 lbs. 2 or 4 seat configurations are available. 4, 6, 8, or 10 hour endurance available

Air-Bag System:
Pilot safety is a first priority. The CH2000 was the first GA aircraft to be certified with a dual air-bag system. It neatly fits into the seat-belt and inflates away from the occupant within 50 milliseconds of a 16G forward directional impact.
